Aim:

The institute carries out research projects initiated by its own staff and conducts research commissioned by government departments, public and academic institutions in Israel and abroad and by private commercial and industrial organisations in a wide Varity of theoretical and applied fields of social science. Projects include methodological and theoretical research; a continuing survey of social problem indicators, research of political attitude, demographic problems, the mass media, immigration and emigration, heath, and quality of life, and market research. The institute puts the use of its technical equipment and facilities at the disposal of other research organisations and provides advisory technical services.
