INTERNATIONAL CULTURE CENTER FOR YOUTH IN JERUSALEM
Aim:
Operates through self-conducted programmes in its central office and in many schools, youth clubs, community centres and museums in Israel. Programs include travelling exhibits on countries and nations, on universal human problem and on art. Fosters international understanding through study group on the life and culture of the peoples of the world, a pen pals international correspondence club, the granting o awards in the areas of peace and education, meeting between Jewish and Arab youth, and folklore entertainment for tourists. The center reaches all sections of Israeli population, but is mainly concerned with youth. Co-operates closely with various governments and agencies, museums, youth institutions and movements and the foreign diplomatic missions in Israel.
