CANADIAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION

Aim:

The foundation promotes research on cystic fibrosis in Canadian universities and hospitals, and gives special grants for training and research to students, fellow, scholars and visiting scientist skilled in such areas as respirology, pediatrics and the behavioral sciences. It promotes the regular exchange of information among researchers, scholars and clinical personnel. About 25 per cent of the foundation's funding are for cystic fibrosis and clinics in Canada. There are 49 chapters of volunteer groups through out Canada.
