Aim:

Basic services for rural development for women and children. Developed and integrated child development service scheme organized around pre- school centres. Each ICDS project provides supplementary nutrition, immunization, health check-up, referral services and pre-school education to child below six, as well as supplementary nutrition. Adults are also trained in income -generating activities, vocational skills, health care, women's groups and childcare. Self-help housing schemes are also introduced.
