NIHON KEIZAI KENKYU CENTER

Aim:

Conducts research on Japan's economy with particular emphasis on economic forecasting, organize joint economic research and undertake research projects on a contractual basis. The centre sponsors economic study courses, seminars, lectures and symposia, and provides training for junior businessmen in advanced economic and research; it publishes finding of its research project and operates a specialized library. On the international level, the centre conducts joint research on specific problems with foreign institutions, organizations lectures and seminars to be help by foreign economists and sponsors an annual conference to which lead economists from both advanced and developing countries are invited. Study facilities are made available to a limited number of foreign researchers.
