NATIONAL FUND FOR RESEARCH INTO CRIPPLING DISEASES

Aim:

It supports basic and clinical research leading to the prevention of disability, regardless of cause, condition or age group, with an emphasis on genetic and development factors, and also into alleviation of existing physical handicap. It also supports research into and development of apparatus and techniques designed to aid diagnosis of conditions leading to crippling, and to alleviate the physical imitations of crippling. Competitive re research training fellowships are also awarded annually.
